About Caiden Baxter
Driven by purpose. Grounded in experience.
I’m a graduate student in Sport Management at the University of Michigan, where I also earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media. My work and story are rooted in a deep commitment to adaptive sports—not just as a competitor, but as a builder, leader, and advocate for access.

Personal Journey & Accomplishments
As one of the first two athletes in Michigan’s Adaptive Sports program, I’ve had the opportunity to help grow it into a national leader. I became the first wheelchair athlete in school history to earn All-American status and have achieved a lifetime high of #1 national USTA ranking in both singles and doubles.
During my undergraduate years, I interned with the Adaptive Sports and Fitness program (ASF), contributing to event planning, community outreach, and program development. Now, I continue that work through a stewardship-focused internship, helping support partnerships and donor engagement to further the program’s reach.

What I’m Focused on Now
I’m currently focused on connecting with mission-driven organizations that believe in the power of sport to create inclusive opportunities. Whether through event operations, strategic development, or adaptive programming, I’m passionate about building systems that break down barriers and open doors.
